I came to Mary with very bad PMS particularly bloating and cramping and sometimes very severe period pain. Within six weeks of starting the nutrition plan which Mary advised, I began to notice an improvement in my general well-being as well as reduced monthly pain. Mary gave me a very good plan with recipes and guidelines for meals. Her follow up session was very helpful and she really motivated me to make changes. I went to see Mary as I was suffering from very bad IBS and bloating. Mary put me at ease with her relaxed yet professional approach. She removed a few foods from my diet temporarily which helped hugely with the bloating and then slowly reintroduced the foods back in. My IBS is now more under control as she detected some foods I was eating that I was intolerant to and also pointed out that I was leading a very stressful life. I always denied I was stressed but by working on stress management I also notice a huge improvement in my IBS. I have much more energy and I don’t feel so tired. I have joined a gym and make it a priority to go twice a week rather than staying in work late pouring over problems that don’t get solved when I am very tired. I also realised how badly I was eating and how much of a negative effect it was having on my health. I used to suffer from regular headaches, severe PMS and my blood sugar levels were out of control causing terrible mood swings but I didn’t know why. Once I started working on a healthy eating plan with Mary I noticed an almost immediate improvement in my health. My energy levels are back up to how they used to be and my PMS is much more under control. I was eating a huge amount of cakes, biscuits and always snacking on bad foods but now I am eating much more healthily.
